The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in mini soccer played tonight in the round of 16 match of the European Championship against the Czech Republic. The regular part ended with a score of 2:2, and the winner was decided by penalties, where our team did better and placed among the eight best teams on the Old Continent.

This year’s European Championship is being played in Sarajevo, and tonight we saw real drama in the “Mirza Delibašić” hall.

We took a 1:0 lead with Anel Dedić’s goal, but the Czechs made a turnaround at the end of the first half and went into the break with 2:1.

In the second half, our team reached the level five minutes before the end when they scored against Urt for 2:2.

It remained 2:2 until the end, so the penalty shootout was started.

According to the rules of mini-football, in the penalty series, three series are shot, and tonight our boys were more accurate and celebrated 3:2. Nurković saved one penalty for the Czechs, and Ibricic scored the decisive penalty, BHRT writes.
