BiH Institute has issued an Orange Alert for Strong Winds

The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute has issued an orange warning due to strong winds on Sunday, March 10, throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Institute states that southerly wind gusts will be 40-60 km/h, while on mountains and plateaus wind gusts will be up to 85 km/h.

The time interval for which the warning has been issued is from Sunday at 6:00 a.m. to Monday at 12:00 p.m.

In the higher regions of Krajina and Herzegovina on Sunday, March 10, strong and stormy winds are expected, which in some places will reach up to 90 kilometers per hour, the Hydrometeorological Institute of the Republika Srpska warned.

On Monday, March 11, during the night the wind will weaken in the north of Republika Srpska, while in other areas at night and during the morning it will be strong to stormy with expected gusts of 40 to 70 kilometers per hour, and in the higher parts of Herzegovina up to 80 kilometers per class.
