The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute (FHMZ) has issued an Orange warning for today from 09:00 to 21:00 for the area of Bosnia, due to heavy showers accompanied by thunder and strong gusts of wind.

The storm will gradually move from the west across the northern and central areas to the east during the day.

With a heavy downpour, 15-30 liters of rain can fall per square meter. Wind gusts 50-70 km/h.

“Be prepared to protect yourself and your property. Flooding of property and traffic networks is possible, as well as disruption in the supply of electricity, water and communications. A minor evacuation may be required. Difficult driving conditions due to reduced visibility and uncontrolled movement of vehicles due to water. Be prepared for disturbances, structural damage and the risk of injury from uprooted trees and debris carried by the wind,” the warning from FHMZ states.
