The FBiH Hydrometeorological Institute (FHMZ) issued an orange alert for the period from Friday, July 21 at 4:00 p.m. to Saturday, July 22, 11:59 p.m. due to expected local showers accompanied by thunder and strong winds. Gusts of hail are also possible during that period.

The warning has been issued for all the regions of the country except the southern part.

With heavy downpours, 15-35 liters of rain per square meter is expected to fall locally. Along with thunder, wind speeds of 45-65 km/h are expected.

“The population should be prepared for disturbances and debris carried by the wind. Interruptions in the supply of electrical energy are possible. For any additional information, please contact the relevant institutions,” the FHMZ announced.
