The ceremony of the signing of the memorandum on the establishment of MBBC was held in Sarajevo today and the document was signed by the President of the Business Council in Malaysia Khairul Azwan Harun, Director of BBI and President of the Business Council in BiH Amer Bukvić, a representative of the Alumni Association of the International Islamic University in Malaysia Seid Alibegović and Hanim Brkić from Malaya Duinia Islam.

The initiative for the establishment of the Business Council between the two countries was initiated by representatives of private sectors of Malaysia and BiH.
The memorandum shall, as pointed out by the signatories, mark a new era in business cooperation between business sectors of the two countries.

“Establishment of the Business Council is a continuation of the activities that BBI Bank and BBI Business Club initiated at the Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF).

Now, we have an office of the Business Council in Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, establishing business cooperation will be much easier. We agreed that the projects from SBF via the Business Council get presented to investors in Malaysia who are particularly interested in energy sector,” said Bukvić.

Energoinvest dd Sarajevo and a company from Malaysia “Great Colour Investment”, on this occasion signed cooperation agreement that focuses on energy sector in BiH.
