BiH Minister of Defense Received the Commander of NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo in Farewell Visit

natoThe BiH Minister of Defense Zekerijah Osmić received yesterday in a farewell visit Brigadier General Walter T. Lord, the former commander of NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo. He presented Brigadier General Merl D. Hart, who will take over the position.

They discussed the level of cooperation and future activities of the BiH Ministry of Defense and the BiH Armed Forces with NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo.

Minister Osmić presented the current most important activities in the work of BiH defense institutions, and plans for the near future.

He expressed gratitude to General Walter T. Lord for the successful cooperation with NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo and his contribution and support to BiH on its path to Euro Atlantic integration, as well as to the Ministry of Defense and BiH Armed Forces.

He wished him personal success in the continuation of his career.

Minister Osmić wished General Merl D. Hart a warm welcome, and expressed his wish to continue the successful cooperation with NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, announced the BiH Ministry of Defense.
