The Deputy Chairman of the BIH Council of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija will be on an official visit to India from 25-28 March at the invite of the Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs Salman Khurshid.
Lagumdžija will meet the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India Salman Khurshid in New Delhi, as well as the State Minister for Foreign Affairs of India Prenet Kaur, State Minister for Trade and Industry Daggubati Purandeswari, and he will hold a lecture at the prestigious Amity University in New Delhi.
He will also address participants at the business forum “Doing Business with Bosnia and Herzegovina”, which will be held on the second day of the official visit on 26 March 2013 under the organization of the Confederation Industry of India (CCI).
In the framework of the forum a Memorandum of Understanding between the Confederation Industry of India and the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber will be signed. During the visit there will also be a special dinner with representatives of the Industry of West Bengal.
The visit to India is an indicator of the strong commitment of BiH’s diplomacy to use all its capacity to attract foreign investment, development of trade and economic ties with all countries in the world, especially friendly states and strengthening economies.
On his way to India, Lagumdžija met the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoğlu in Istanbul. They spoke of the upcoming trilateral meeting of Ministers of BiH-Serbia-Turkey and the President of the Marmara Group Foundation (MGF) Dr. Akkan Suver, with whom he discussed the upcoming 16th Eurasian Economic Summit.
