The President of the European Movement in BiH Predrag Praštalo and the expert for economic issues of this organization Diko Mujkić spoke in Sarajevo with the BiH Minister of Security Fahrudin Radončić on the security situation in BiH, for which the representatives of the European Movement noted was at a satisfactory level.

Representatives of the European Movement expressed their gratitude to Minister Radončić for the activities in solving the issue of electronic exchange of police database. This is one of the most important, but until now unfulfilled conditions of the Road Map for the abolition of the visa regime for BiH citizens, and which was suggested by the European Commission several times.

Minister Radončić informed representatives of the European Movement of the recent meetings with high European and international representatives, noting that the international community expects and welcomes local political actors to embark on decisive action in the fight against organized crime and corruption. This is one of the basic priorities of the agenda.

The Minister pointed out that when the time comes, this selection will be the most important chapter in the accession negotiations for BiH’s path to the EU, and added that the European path does not have any other alternative. Consequently, all social actors have to give their contribution to expedite the process of EU integration, including non-profit organizations such as the European Movement.
