The Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina will initiate proceedings against its officer who posted photos glorifying the “Storm” action on the social network “Facebook”, along with a photo of a man with a tattoo of the Ustasha greeting “ready for home” on his back, BiH Minister of Security Nenad Nešić said.

“After I became aware of the information that an employee of the Directorate glorified a criminal action in which a pogrom was carried out against the Serbian people, I asked the Directorate to initiate proceedings,” Nešić told Srna news agency.

He added that they confirmed to him that the procedure will be initiated in order to determine the responsibility of that official. Nešić also said that those who glorify war crimes have no place in police agencies.

He said that he will demand that this official be adequately sanctioned and that he will monitor the course of the procedure from beginning to end.

“I will ask all representatives of police agencies at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina to do their job professionally and be in the service of the law,” said Nešić.
