The basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is playing a friendly match against Poland tonight in Hrasnica.
It is about checking the Dragons for the qualification matches for Mundobasket at the end of this month, against Italy (August 28, Tuzla) and Lithuania (August 31, Vilnius).
The Polish national team is an old acquaintance of our national team. The Dragons played against the same opponent in the round of 16 of the last Eurobasket, as well as in the pre-qualification final for the Olympic Games. The Poles celebrated in both matches.
“I think that the Poles will not have Loyd, who will be a little late, but it is a national team that is at the top level. It’s a great check. The most important thing for us is to apply what we have trained and worked on in order to gain security in the duels with Italy and Lithuania,” says coach Dario Gjergja.
The head of the professional staff of the BiH national team has the following players available for this duel: Edin Atić, Amar Gegić, Darko Talić, Adnan Arslanagić, Vojin Ilić, Eman Šertović, Edin Preldžić, Adin Vrabac, Aleksandar Lazić, Asim Gutić, Amar Alibegović, Stefan Simanić, Jusuf Nurkić, Kenan Kamenjaš and Alija Islamović.
