The football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina left this morning on a charter flight from Sarajevo airport to Luxembourg, where they will play the penultimate match of the Euro 2024 qualifiers tomorrow.

BiH football players have already lost the chance to qualify for the European Championship, so the upcoming two matches, against Luxembourg and Slovakia on Sunday in Zenica, will serve coach Savo Milošević as a preparation for the decisive matches of the playoffs in March.

The selector made several changes to the roster for this match, inviting five new players, while he will not be able to count on captain Edin Džeko, who was spared, and the injured Miralem Pjanić and Sead Kolašinac. Standard goalkeeper Ibrahim Šehić is not on the list, nor is Anel Ahmedhodžić, who is believed to return to the team for the play-off matches.

Today, the BiH national team will hold an official training session at the “Stade de Luxembourg” stadium at 19:00, and a press conference is planned half an hour earlier.

The match with Luxembourg will be played on Thursday at 20:45.

They are planning to return to BiH on Friday, and until the meeting with Slovakia, the players will stay at the NSBiH Training Center in Zenica, Fena ewports.
