BiH Presidency gives Consent to the deployment of the Armed Forces Members to Turkey

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a conclusion on sending the members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Turkey to provide assistance in mitigating the consequences of the earthquake.

The office of the BiH Presidency member, Denis Bećirović stated that the Presidency adopted a conclusion giving consent to the Ministry of Defense of BiH to send the declared Medical Team of the Armed Forces of BiH to the Republic of Turkey.

Also, with this conclusion, the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina is tasked to urgently take measures and actions within its competencies to send a mixed contingent of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Turkey to provide assistance in mitigating the consequences of the earthquake.

The BiH Ministry of Defense is also in charge of looking into the possibility of donating equipment, requested from Turkey through a request submitted to the NATO EARDCC, and to initiate the procedure for its possible referral, announced the office of the BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović.
