Yellow Weather Alert announced for Parts of BiH

Due to the wind blowing or expected during the day in the area of northwestern and southeastern Bosnia, a yellow weather alert is in effect.

Thus, in the Banja Luka and Foča regions, strong winds with gusts of more than 11 meters per second (40 kilometers per hour) are expected in places.

“Expect minor disturbances in outdoor activities. Be aware of debris carried by the wind,” according to the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of BiH.

Today, mostly cloudy and unstable weather with rain and showers is forecast. Precipitation mostly in Bosnia. In Herzegovina, local showers in the afternoon.

Weak to moderate wind from the west and south-west direction. The lowest morning air temperature is mostly between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius. The highest daily air temperature is mostly between 13 and 18, in the south of the country up to 20 degrees Celsius.

Mostly cloudy weather in Sarajevo. From the middle of the day, occasional rain is expected. The lowest morning air temperature is around 7 degrees. The highest daily air temperature is around 17 degrees.
