BiH Presidency Member: OHR should remain in BiH

High Representative Valentin Inzko and Principal Deputy High Representative Michael Scanlan met today with a member of the BiH Presidency Šefik Džaferović.

The High Representative used this opportunity to introduce the new PDHR and Brčko Supervisor, and to discuss the current political developments.

Džaferović expressed his dissatisfaction with the weakening of the role of the international community in BiH, represented through the OHR, especially since the Dayton Agreement has not yet been fully implemented and obstacles prevented the full functionality of the institutions of our country.

He stressed that weakening the role of the international community before the full implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement encouraged the leaders to do the destructive policies, which could negatively affect the stability and development of BiH.

Džaferović stressed the need for the OHR, as part of the Dayton Peace Agreement, to remain in BiH, as long as the provisions of this agreement are not fully implemented in all segments.
