Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zeljko Komsic and Sefik Dzaferovic talked today in Podgorica with the Prime Minister of Montenegro Zdravko Krivokapic. During the meeting, it was emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro are two friendly countries that have no outstanding issues.

Krivokapic assessed that it is necessary to continue strengthening and improving the relations that have become an example of good relations in the region in the past period.

The talks focused on issues in the field of economic and infrastructural cooperation, with special emphasis on the issue of transport connections between BiH and Montenegro, and in that sense, they discussed the candidacies for joint projects within European investment funds.

The topic of conversation was also cooperation in the field of tourism, agriculture, as well as projects in the field of the energy sector.

The two delegations discussed the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration and expressed readiness for Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro to show mutual support in the field of multilateral cooperation, as is the case with bilateral cooperation.

They emphasized that it is important to promote a civic society organization with relaxation and harmonization of interethnic relations, because that is the best way to strengthen peace and stability in the entire region of the Western Balkans.
