Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina officially welcomed the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, during his visit to the country today.

A ceremonial reception with full military honors took place in front of the BiH Presidency building, followed by a one-on-one meeting between President Christodoulides and the BiH Presidency members.

The BiH Presidency had previously announced that formal talks between the official delegations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Cyprus would also take place.

Cypriot media reported ahead of the visit that President Christodoulides is on a working tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania as part of preparations for Cyprus’s upcoming presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2026.
