According to data from the Indirect Tax Administration (ITA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), in the first five months of this year, 35,699 cars were imported into our country, the total value of which is 485,870,856 BAM.

It is about 4,504 new vehicles and 31,195 used cars, on whose import the state collected a total of 109,872,507 BAM.

In addition to others, citizens of BiH became owners of 88 electric vehicles and 721 hybrids.

Compared to the same period last year, the number of imported cars recorded a significant increase and was higher by 8,283 four-wheelers.

Last year, 72,237 cars were imported into BiH, the total value of which exceeded one billion BAM.

The fleet of the top 10 most expensive vehicles, which crossed the BiH border in the first five months of this year, is worth more than 3.6 million BAM. The first on the list so far is the Porsche-911 S/T, worth 445,227 BAM, followed by the Porsche-911 GT3 RS, which was paid 419,107 BAM.

Ferrari F169 Roma cost 395,161 BAM, Porsche-911 Turbo S was 363,736 BAM, and Lamborghini 636 Urus 355,939 BAM.

Among the top 10 are another Porsche-911 Turbo S (345,458 BAM), two cars Mercedes Benz AMG G63 (335,401 and 324,099 BAM), Porsche-911 GT3 (317,524 BAM), and Mercedes AMG SL (316,098 BAM).

Although there is still time until the end of this year, it is difficult to expect that in 2024, a car of record value will be dethroned. It is a Mercedes S 600 L Guard, which was imported in 2011, and was paid 857,173 BAM, eKapija writes.
