BiH records Increase in Number of Registered Vehicles

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 9,023 vehicles were registered for the first time in March, which is 15.4 percent more than in the same month last year, while 16.2 percent of the total number of vehicles registered for the first time are new.

If we look at new vehicles registered for the first time, the highest percentage of registered passenger cars is 51.8 percent, the BiH Statistics Agency announced.

In March, of the total number of new vehicles registered for the first time, 52.1 percent were registered by natural persons, and in the category of new passenger cars, the largest percentage is those that use gasoline as a fuel – 48.5 percent.

Of the total number of vehicles registered for the first time, passenger vehicles are the most represented – 74.6 percent, followed by trucks 7.4 percent, motorcycles 4.3 percent, trailers 3.6 percent, semi-trailers and mopeds 1.5 percent, road tractors 1.3 percent , special vehicles 0.9 percent, while at least 0.5 percent of buses.

The other category participates with 4.4 percent of registered motor vehicles in relation to the total number of registered vehicles.
