In the Federation of BiH, 1,190 babies were born in April, and 1,669 residents died. This means that the natural increase is – 479, and the vital index is 71.
According to the latest data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics, in the same month of this year, 862 marriages were concluded, while 156 divorces were recorded.
Negative natural growth was recorded in nine cantons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, except in West Herzegovina.
In the four months of 2024 (January-April), 4,454 babies were born in FBiH, and 6,444 people died, Fena writes.
