BiH sent a Protest Note to Montenegro after the Meeting between Mandic and Dodik

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) sent a note of protest to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro because two days ago the President of the Montenegrin Assembly Andrija Mandic hosted Milorad Dodik in the official premises, without highlighting the features of BiHbut of the Republika Srpska (RS) entity, and then made scandalous claims.

As it was written two days ago, Mandic first hosted the president of the RS entity Milorad Dodik in his cabinet, and then they held a joint press conference.

The flags of the state of BiH weren’t displayed in the cabinet orin the premises where the press conference was held, but only flags of Montenegro and RS, the administrative unit of BiH.

Shameful statements were also made at the conference itself. Thus, among other things, Andrija Mandic said that “the RS and the Federation of BiH (FBiH) created BiH”, while Dodik spoke about the special ties between the RS and Montenegro and the so-called “Serbian world”.

With this, the first man of the Parliament of Montenegro expressed direct disrespect for the state of BiH and its institutions, and in a certain way tried to equate the RS entity with the state.

As it was found out, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiHpointed to this and stated that BiH respects and respects the state characteristics of Montenegro, as well as other internationally recognized countries, and expects the representatives of BiH in Montenegro to have the same treatment.

They also pointed to Mandic‘s scandalous statement that “RS and FBiH created BiH” and stated that such moves can only damage good neighborly relations.

Also, this is not the first time that the President of the Parliament of Montenegro ignores the BiH flag during meetings with officials coming from BiH. Thus, a few days ago, he hosted the president of the National Assembly of RS (NARS), Nenad Stevandic, with the flags of Montenegro and the RS, Klix.ba writes.
