The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) is involved in the investigation into the circumstances of yesterday’s accident in the area of Visoko, where a helicopter of the Armed Forces of BiH overturned.
“The duty prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an order to the State Investigation and Protection Agency and the Ministry of Interior of Zenica Doboj Canton to take the necessary investigative actions in cooperation with the competent services of the Armed Forces of BiH to determine all circumstances and causes of the aircraft overturning,” the Prosecutor’s Office said.
After the investigation is completed, a report on the actions taken and the established facts will be submitted to the prosecutor’s office.
It should be reminded that during the regular flight training of members of the Air Force Brigade and Air Defense of the Armed Forces of BiH, a helicopter of the BiH Armed Forces overturned on the ground yesterday at the flight training ground near Visoko.
“It is a Bell Huey II helicopter with four crew members, none of whom were injured. There is visible damage on the helicopter. The competent services of the BiH Armed Forces are currently investigating the causes of the overturning,” the BiH Ministry of Defense said.
