BiH Will Get a Private Center for Asylum Seekers

azilBiH now has a new shelter for those who are looking for asylum in the country.

This is the first shelter of its kind, and its establishment is one of the determinants for the visa liberalization and functioning of the process of migration and asylum in BiH, and is therefore of importance for the European integration of BiH. The accommodation capacity is 150 asylum seekers.

The building of the center for asylum seekers is supported through the proect “Bulding a center for asylum seekers in BiH”, financed by the EU Program IPA 2008-second part of the program.

The total amount for the work is 701.468.93 euros, and 164.900 euros for oversight.

The BiH Ministry of Security co-financed the project in the amount of 500.000 euros.
