BiH Wine Presented to Japan

The Ambassador of BiH in Tokyo, on the occasion of the participation of wine producers from BiH at the food fair “Foodex Japan”, the “hour of BiH wine tasting” for visitors from Japanese institutions and representatives of distributive houses that deal with the sale of wine and food in Japan was presented.

The Ambassador of BiH to Japane Pero Matić invited visitors to test selected wines from selected Herzegovinian wines and to try prominent products from BiH.

He expressed gratitude to Japanese institutions such as JETRO, MOFA and JICA who have helped in showcasing well-known wines and other products from BiH at this fair.

The exhibition stands from BiH were among the most visited, and the wife of the Prime Minister of Japan Akie Abe visited the stand as well. In discussions with the exhibitors, she expressed her enthusiasm for the quality of the products.

Japanese wine drinkers thanked the Herzegovinian windery “Nuić Ljubuški”, “Herzegovina vina Mostar”, “Podrumi Manastira Tvrdoš” from Trebinje, and “Podrumi Andrija Paoce” and “Vinarija Čitluk”.

Particular interest and attention of Japanese visitors was given to vegetable products from “Sava Semberija” company.
