Chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidency Zeljko Komsic spoke with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte and Estonian Prime Minister Juri Ratas about the political and economic situation in BiH during his official visit to New York.

During the meeting, Komsic stressed that at no price he would give up on the NATO path for BiH, because it would be playing with the future of the country and its citizens.

Prime Minister Rutte reaffirmed the readiness of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to assist BiH on its path to EU and NATO integration.

The bilateral and friendly cooperation between the two countries was assessed as very good, and it was concluded that there was room for improvement of relations between BiH and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, especially in the field of economy.

Ratas thanked them for their support and offered Bosnia and Herzegovina the experience and advice they gained in the field of digital technologies.

Estonia, as a member state of the European Union and a country with 1.3 million people, is a leader in the use of digital technologies. He emphasized that Estonian society is fully digitized, which includes e-government, the electoral process, education and the like. For this reason, he emphasized that cyber security is the most important factor in a digital technology based society.
