BiH’s Presidency Members met with Turkish Minister of Trade Bekir Pakdemirli

Bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey are very successful and friendly in all areas of cooperation and without open questions, was stated during the visit of Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry to BiH’s capital Sarajevo on Friday.

It has been stated that there is room for improvement of bilateral relations and the possibility of investing in economic and agricultural fields as well as the promotion of trade exchange.

Good relations between BiH and Turkey are intensifying by reciprocal high-level visits. In this context, a recent official visit of BiH Presidency members to the Republic of Turkey and a meeting at the highest level when the Free Trade Agreement between BiH and the Republic of Turkey was signed and the Memorandum of Understanding between BiH and the Republic of Turkey on Cooperation in the Field of Transport Infrastructure.

It was emphasized that Turkey is a very important foreign trade partner for BiH and that the continuity of good and successful bilateral relations should be maintained.

It is proposed to intensify the economic cooperation of the two countries through participation in business forums, as well as through direct contacts between businessmen.

BiH Presidency members have called on President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit BiH.
