About 30 bikers from Zenica gathered today at the Square of Alija Izetbegovic, dressed in Santa suits to cheer up the children from the Children’s Home “Dom porodica” in Zenica.
“Santa bikers” from Zenica have successfully been organizing this activity for 9 years in a row, in order to cheer up the children who live in the Institution Children’s Home “Dom porodica” during the New Year holidays. Before going to the Children’s Home “Dom porodica”, Zenica bikers paraded in their suits through the city.
Igor Tizi, a member and one of the founders of MC “Condor” from Zenica, said that this is the traditional activity of this club, and an idea that has existed since the founding of the club.
“We wanted to keep the club working even in the winter time so we decided to do something interesting for the city which would be remembered as an interesting event. Considering that the club exists for 16 years, and this idea is 9 years old, this activity became something obligatory, which is made possible with the help of our supporters and people who love the city and appreciate our work,” said Tizi.
He added that the activity was successful with joint forces, and the members of the MC “Condor” have provided about 86 packets for children from the children’s home.
