qr (1)Billboards with QR codes placed on all major border crossings in B&H represent a great significance for the promotion and availability of tourist destinations of B&H to foreign tourists. Through these codes tourists can download the smartphone application with the tourist destinations of 38 partners in the project “Digital BH tourist itinerary.”

In their first contact after entering in B&H tourists have the possibility of easy available and diverse tourist attractions on Google Maps, which is an integral part of the smartphone application.

Billboards with QR code were placed at the entrances to B&H in early August within the campaign “Laganini through the B&H,” which is implemented by the Rotor organization for development of tourism in the Doboj region and which lasts from the 30th of June to the 30th of September.

The campaign is an integral part of the project “Digital BH tourist itinerary,” funded by the US Embassy in B&H.

The project is promoting and digitalizing the tourist attractions in order to increase the number of foreign tourists in the cities/municipalities in the FB&H and Republic of Srpska using modern tools of promotion through the internet, social networks, mobile phones, and radio and TV shows.
