Thousands of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) visited the Olympic beauty Bjelasnica Mountain on Sunday, when the winter season was officially opened.

The road to Bjelasnica was almost blocked during the day and long columns were formed.

The management of “ZOI ’84” also hired several performers from BiH and the region to entertain the audience on Bjelasnica.

Although the start of the winter season would be nicer with more snow, there is no announced rainfall so far, and artificial snowing is unlikely to be possible.

The opening of the winter season was also accompanied by fireworks and both the elderly and the children enjoyed the event, News Agency Patria reports.
