These elections are not over yet – they will be over when the election process is repeated in Doboj, Zvornik and Laktaši, where, thanks to electoral manipulations, the results do not reflect the will of the people – said SDS candidate for President of Republika Srpska Branko Blanuša.

After the early elections for President of Republika Srpska held yesterday, Blanuša thanked everyone “who supported the vision of a different Republika Srpska in these elections”.

– My gratitude also goes to all political entities that sincerely supported my candidacy, as well as their leaders – Jelena, Draška and Vukan. I also thank my team that has been with me all this time. If we were to give up now, we would be the same as them – said Blanuša in a post on social networks.

According to the preliminary election results, which were announced this morning by the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SNSD candidate Siniša Karan is still in the lead over SDS candidate Branko Blanuša.

Karan won 217,324 votes or 50.30 percent, while Blanuša won 208,955 votes or 48.37 percent.
