vn_furniture9“Bluhend wood” in Sarajevo will employ an additional 270 people by the end of 2014. This was announced after the meeting of representatives of the Chinese Corporation of the wood industry “Fuzhou jiu Yaan Trade Co. Ltd” and members of the corporation “Bluhend Wood” from Sarajevo with the Prime Minister of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) Fikret Plevljak and the Head of the Office Dženan Begović on Thursday, 6 June, according to the ZDK website.

“Bluehend Wood” is a member of the Chinese corporation, and for the third year is investing in a sawmill in Vareš. At the meeting they spoke of the second phase of investing and of expanding the processing capacity of wood, as well as creating new jobs.

With the realization of the second phase of investment, the total number of employed people should be 120, which is an additional 70 jobs. The third phase should be realized during the next year, which means hiring an additional 200 people in factories for the final woodwork.

The ambition of “Bluhend Wood” is ultimately to employ 500 people in wood processing plants in Vareš.
