Open Door Day of Sarajevo Historical archive

historijski_arhiv_sarajevoHistorical archive of Sarajevo is holding an open door day, today and the citizens of Sarajevo will have the opportunity to see an exhibition about history of Sarajevo and various catalogues, and other archive material will be presented at the exhibition, reports Fena.

In the reading room of the Library of the Archive, the most interesting archive documents from the Archive fund will be exhibited and on that occasion, visitors will have the opportunity to watch a documentary film ‘Tarih’ by Selma Tahirović.

Over 220 archive funds of Sarajevo were proclaimed national monument and this year the Archive marks 65 years of its foundation and sponsored by International Council on Archives, Historical archive of Sarajevo will mark the International Day of Archives.
