Ambassador of France in B&H, Claire Bodonyi, met yesterday with the Mayor of Tuzla, Jasmin Imamovic, within a working visit to Tuzla Canton.
Ambassador Bodonyi said that she wants to intensify relations of the City of Tuzla and France, since Tuzla was fraternized worth Saint Denis.
Cooperation of the City of Tuzla and France will primarily be reflected in the cultural field, and ways of the economic cooperation will be found, emphasized Bodonyi.
She stated that Tuzla has a special possibility to develop tourism, especially when it comes to the salt lakes.
Mayor of Tuzla expressed his satisfaction with yesterday’s meeting with the Ambassador of France.
Ambassador Bodonyi also visited a Cantonal Chamber of Commerce Tuzla in order to be informed about the state of economy in Tuzla Canton.
“Aim of the visit to a Cantonal Chamber of Commerce Tuzla is to find a possibility for an operative economic cooperation of France and Tuzla Canton“, said Ambassador Bodonyi.
She emphasized that its goal is to see which are those large economic areas that enable an establishment of the cooperation with French companies within the transport of skills or establishing a partnership, and announced that she will visit again Tuzla Canton in the future.
