Historian Fikret Midžić is soon going to publish new book on history of Bihać called ‘Bihać- urban identity of the city’.

Seeking authentic sources about rich history of Bihać, he writes about several unknown or less known facts about the life and culture of Bihać people through centuries.

Very few authors wrote about Bihać (Mahmutović, Franjić, Aničić, Lopašić) but none of them wrote in such details, and because of that the value of this book is even greater. It is a written proof on all elements of city of Bihać, on its citizens; it is a mark which will preserve it from oblivion and from loss.

This book is a fine example of Bihać’s cultural scene.
