Director of the Sarajevo Canton Health Insurance Institute Muamer Kosovac and Canton Sarajevo Minister of Health Enis Hasanović opened today the fourth Health Tourism Fair “Bosnia Healthcare & Services Expo 2026” in Sarajevo.
It is one of the most significant events in the field of health tourism in the region, the goal of which is to connect the health industry, exchange knowledge and promote innovations in medical services.
The director of the Health Insurance Institute of CS said that he supports all initiatives that contribute to the improvement of the health system, the exchange of professional experiences and the application of modern solutions in health care.
“The health tourism fair represents a significant opportunity to connect relevant actors from the health sector, promote innovation and strengthen regional cooperation. Our primary goal remains to ensure high-quality, accessible and efficient health care for all insured persons of the Sarajevo Canton, and it is through events like this that opportunities for new partnerships and work models are opened that can further improve the health services we provide to citizens,” said Kosovac.
It was stated that this is just one of the confirmations of the positioning of Sarajevo and our country as a growing health tourism destination in the region.
World-renowned experts in the fields of aesthetic medicine, dentistry, transplant surgery, orthopedics, rehabilitation and health management are also attending the fair, ZZOKS announced.
