Bosnia and Herzegovina Handball Team – World Cup 2015

handaballOn the 24th World Cup which will be held in Qatar, the handball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will play in Group B with Croatia, Austria, Tunisia, Macedonia and Iran.

The World Cup will be held from 15th January to 1st  February 2015 and all matches will be played in Doha.

After the first phase of the competition, the top four teams will attempt to qualify in the eight finals, and then the elimination phase will take place.

The teams which will qualify on the sixth and fifth will continue to compete in the so-called President’s Cup.

For the first time in history, the handball team of BiH won the participation in the World Cup, after it eliminate Island in the additional qualifications.

 

World Cup 2015 Groups:

A-group: Spain, Slovenia, Belarus, Brazil, Qatar and Chile

Group B: Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Tunisia, Macedonia and Iran

Group C: France, Sweden, Czech Republic, Egypt, Algeria and the UAR

D-group: Denmark, Poland, Argentina, Germany, Russia and Bahrain
