Bosnia reports 36 Deaths caused by COVID-19

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1,586 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the past 24 hours, while 36 people died. In the past 24 hours, 2275 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 932 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH. So far, a total of 198,583 samples have been tested, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 28,581 individuals.

As of today, 18,663 patients have been cured in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours, recovery has been recorded in 96 patients.

Currently, 9174 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 are active. In the past 24 hours, 20 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH.

As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 744, 494 men and 250 women.

In Republika Srpska, 630 cases of coronavirus have been registered in the last 24 hours. These are 337 men and 293 women, of which 131 are younger, 419 are middle-aged and 80 are older.

In the last 24 hours, 14 deaths have been reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska, in which the presence of the coronavirus has been confirmed. So far, a total of 8,125 people have recovered, and a total of 99,239 people have been tested. The total number of hospitalized in the Republic of Srpska is 546, in the University Clinical Center 209, and in general hospitals 337.

Currently, 8,837 persons are under health supervision, and 67,685 persons have completed their supervision. When it comes to Brcko, 24 newly infected out of a total of 74 processed tests were registered in the district.
