Bosnian Minister of Defense met with Ambassador of the State of Kuwait

Minister of Defense of Bosnia-Herzegovina Sifet Podzic met with Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to BiH Abdulaziz Alsharrah.

The topics of discussion were the priorities of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH in the coming period, as well as the possibilities of improving the overall friendly relations between the two countries.

Minister Podzic welcomed Ambassador Alsharrah at the beginning of the meeting and stressed the importance of the support of the State of Kuwait in building a greater level of security in BiH through cooperation programs with UNDP and the OSCE in the process of dealing with surplus mines and explosives and improving storage facilities of the BiH Armed Forces.

Minister Podzic briefed the Ambassador on the current engagement of members of Armed Forces of Bosnia-Herzegovina in peace support missions through EU, NATO and UN missions.

Ambassador Alsharrah expressed desire and readiness to further enhance bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields.
