wooden productsBohen d.o.o, Bosnian company, that until recently was recognized for its production of parts of rubber and plastic parts for water and heating, now represents a new concept of development through the wood processing.

Namely, they produce dishes made of wood, which already has found its place in supermarkets in biggest retail chains in Denmark.

Soon, their products will be available in BIH, under the brand REKO.
Amir Reko, the owner and director of the company, speaks about the new products.

“In these four years, for how long our products are available in the markets in Scandinavia, we were able to make a very productive production. We guarantee our quality by hiring the best engineers and experts from our country, who created machines that allow us precise and rapid design of our products, which is recognized in Denmark. For instance, with the help of machines that we have made, we make our products for 10 minutes, while the same products on the most modern CNC machines work up to two hours. So far, we have exported to Scandinavian countries only, but we have realized that Bosnians are also interested in our products, so we decided to export in BiH as well ”, says Reko.

Scandinavian design – Bosnian product

Reko says that it is the Bosnian stubbornness that led him to what he is producing right now. He wanted to go back to that Bosnian spirit, tradition and customs, and created a thriving export business through his love for wood. He used his knowledge of Scandinavian and domestic raw materials and made products of a high demand.

“I have learned on my own mistakes,” he says, and points out that the most expensive thing in the whole process is that there was no one from whom he could see a way of production and development of such articles. Also, by not having anyone to see the similarity, he could not compare his products neither”, adds Reko.

Reko says that one needs to be persistent in any business. “In order to succeed, you need to trust and to work hard. That one cannot succeed in BiH is not true at all, one just needs to persevere in his task and the results will come alone”, concludes Reko.
