Bosnian Success: Albina Smajlović passed the audition for Taormina Opera Stars

albinaSoprano singer Albina Smajlović from Banja Luka, passed the audition for Taormina Opera Stars. The first rehearsal will be held in April in Sicily.

Taormina Opera Stars is one of the most important opera festivals in Europe, and auditions for participation in this project were called in several Italian cities.

When asked about the plans in the future, this young and perspective singer said that she is planning a large number of opera – Verdi, Puccini, Bizet … Since she had a little time, she managed to prepeare three, namely the roles of Mimi from “La Boheme”, Liu from “Turandot” and Mikael from Bizet’s “Carmen”.
