150204156.1_xlIt is believed that Plaza de Mulas is the second biggest base camp in the world, which is located at 4.300 meters above sea level.

On his Facebook profil, Cvitanušić announced that the three members from Bosnia and Herzegovina crossed 22 km of difficult and inaccessible terrain and 1.170 vertical meters, and all with only 20 kg of the baggage on the back.

“All expedition members are resistant to scratch, there are no problems except that we cannot take a proper bath. Additional problem is that we are sleeping in bags in freezing temperatures”, wrote Tomislav on Facebook.

The expedition will remain in the camp until this Sunday when they will move to the top of Aconcagua.

Aconcagua is located in Argentina at 6.960,8 meters and it is the highest peak of South America. The trio from BiH started this life adventure on 28th January.

The expedition is expected to last 21 days, and if all goes accordingly they should be back in Sarajevo on 23rd February.
