Residence of former French queen Marie Antoinette, next to magnificent Versailles, near Paris, from the last year is decorated by wooden windows from BiH, by BiH company ‘Kontinental’ from Kiseljak.
Although it is custom that the rehabilitation of French monuments is done by French companies, it is a great success for a non-French to work on the rehabilitation, and two reasons were decisive for giving the chance BiH company to work: quality and affordable price.
Decorator Damir Dino Huseinović travelled the entire Europe so that he could see all the windows of similar design as Versailles in order to make the windows as original as possible. Windows are from Kiseljak and glasses from Vitez.
Cooperation started several years ago, when Husinović worked on a project of the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire and made a contact with ‘Kontinental’ company from Kiseljak and their manager Damir Bencun.
He brought to ’Kontinenta’l the window from the building of Côte d’Ivoire and asked for the exact replica and he was thrilled with results.
