Commander of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, Brigadier General Pamela McGaha, met today with the delegation of the NATO Defense College (NDC), led by the commander, Lieutenant General Max A.L.T Nielsen, during the NDC’s visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the light of last year’s visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Defense of BiH to the NATO High School of Defense, the Butmir camp was visited by high-ranking students from 23 countries, 10 allies and 13 countries that, like BiH, are partners in NATO.

General McGaha informed the delegation about the priorities of the NATO headquarters in Sarajevo, as well as about the ongoing cooperation with the defense and security institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This visit was also an opportunity to exchange information on a number of academic courses offered by the College to NATO members and partners, including Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In response to the Strategic Instructions issued by the NATO Defense College (NDC) to the North Atlantic Council and the NATO Military Committee, the NDC contributes to the effectiveness and cohesion of the Alliance, primarily through high-level education on transatlantic security issues, including critical, creative and strategic thinking on the key issues facing the Alliance, it was announced from the NATO headquarters in Sarajevo.
