What will be the Topic of Discussion at the Meeting of the Member of Presidency Ivanic and Serbian President?

Member of the Presidency of BiH, Mladen Ivanic, expects that the most important topics during the upcoming visit of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to BiH will be border issues and the creation of better political relations, however, not the construction of a joint motorway.

“During my last meeting in Belgrade, I agreed on the basic topics for discussion with Vucic, during his upcoming visit to BiH. I think that we will try to open the story and define where Serbia has an interest in the exchange of territories, to fix some irregularities about the border so that BiH actively participates in it,” said Ivanic.

“There will be a lot of concrete and practical topics, but I am not expecting the story of the motorway because there is no agreement on that topic within BiH, nor there will be in the near future,” said Ivanic.

Ivanic expects “improvement of relations between BiH and Serbia” and believes that it is “a kind of test for promises of Bosniak leaders”. The President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will pay an official visit to BiH on September 7 and 8.
