pocSarajevo – Sarajevo will host this year for the 3rd time the International caravan of poets, singers-songwriters and bands, entitled “Brightness of Neretva” from the 5th to 10th August.

It is an event which will gather 25 artists of different profiles, interests and sensibility from 5 countries: Italy, Netherlands, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina – was announced in the communication of the NGO PROKULTURA.

The cultural part of the program consists of the poetry and the music program as well as of the screenings of the documentaries made by Ratko Orozović celebrating 50 years of art work. There will also be exhibitions of paintings, sculptures and art photography in Počitelj, Stolac, Mostar, Konjic and Sarajevo.

Besides singers-songwriters from Slovenia and B&H, the music guests are PGS Pravo lice and a cross-over trio Liminalit Classic.

Artists from the cities this caravan will pass through are also invited to join it and present their own work e.g. to support this event.

Visitors will receive a free copy of the magazine produced by the NGO Prokultura entitled Republika poezije (Republic of poetry).

Regarding the uncertain situation in the budget for culture in B&H, the accommodation, food and transport is for the participants to pay on their own.

The program will start on the 5th August in Počitelj.
