The British Accreditation Council accredits International Burch University and by receiving another international accreditation, International Burch University has reaffirmed its clear commitment to assurance of quality it provides to its students, and once again proved that it carries the title of the best private and first entrepreneurial university in Bosnia and Herzegovina with a reason.

For over 30 years, the BAC has been the responsible agency for setting standards in the independent higher education sector and has accredited hundreds of universities in the UK and around the world. According to the BAC, they help students, parents, agencies and all other stakeholders around the world find quality education. BAC accreditation is a guarantee of high standards and a confirmation that a higher education institution truly offers quality education.

“We are proud that another international accreditation, coming from the UK, has been granted to our University. It is a confirmation of the dedicated work of our team, which is constantly working to improve education for our students, following European and world standards. Students from Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries, the number of whom is rapidly increasing, have recognized this and are choosing to pursue education at Burch University,” said Prof. Dr. Mersid Poturak, Rector of International Burch University.

With this prestigious accreditation, International Burch University has received international recognition and an independent quality assessment confirming that the University meets the high standards required by higher education institutions, and that its education and research are in accordance with European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) for quality assurance applied in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

“This type of education is especially needed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, because we are creating new generations of students who, after their studies, will be ready for the labour market and recognized as creative, innovative and ready to offer solutions through a critical approach and stay in their own country, ” added Prof. Dr. Mersid Poturak.

BAC is the second British accreditation granted to International Burch University. At the end of 2019, International Burch University was accredited by the ASIC Agency, and several days ago the accreditation process by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Sarajevo Canton was also successfully completed, upon the recommendation of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of BiH.
