British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Julian Reilly stated today that the United Kingdom supports the urgent formation of a coalition at the state level, which would be focused on protecting the interests of all citizens.

“Finding a solution to the current situation is the responsibility of political leaders in BiH. The United Kingdom supports the urgent formation of a coalition at the state level, focused on protecting the interests of all citizens. Important conversation with (HDZ BiH leader) Dragan Čović on this issue,” Reilly wrote on X.

The HDZ BiH previously announced that the party’s leader Dragan Čović met in Mostar today with the British envoy for the Western Balkans Karen Pierce, with whom he discussed the current political situation in BiH and the region and BiH’s Euro-Atlantic path.

Emphasis was placed on the need to ensure internal stability in BiH, the implementation of European reforms, as well as strengthening political dialogue, the HDZ BiH announced.

Ambassador Reilly also attended the meeting.
