The Ministry of the Internal Affairs of the Livno Canton is conducting an investigation to determine the perpetrators who attacked the Orthodox church in Kudilji near Kupres, breaking the windows and tearing down the cross in the yard.

On Thursday, employees of the Kupres Police Station received a report that unknown perpetrators had broken the windows of the Orthodox Church of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Mother of God in Kudilji near Kupres.

An inspection at the scene was implemented by the workers of PP Kupres, and on that occasion, they determined that two window panes on the church had been broken as well as that a tombstone (cross) in the churchyard had been demolished.

The Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Livno was informed about everything, and it ordered certain investigative actions to be taken in order to find the perpetrators.

Two years ago, this church was also the target of vandals who first smashed the windows of nine windows, and then entered the church through them, where they ransacked the interior andeventually smashed inventory such as candlesticks, pots, and other objects used for religious purposes, which also damaged the sacred images – icons, Klix.ba writes.
