After the successful revival of Theatre Festival of BiH ”Fedra” and Meetings of Puppet Theatres of BiH, another pre-war tradition, which made Bugojno famous, will also be revived – the Bugojno Puppet Biennale, which will be organised in mid September

”According to the conclusion of the meeting, which we held in December last year, we sent a letter to all puppeteers in BiH and neighbouring countries, with the aim of getting the information whether they are interested to revive the Bugojno Puppet Biennale. After their support and detailed analysis, we’ve decided that we’ll revive the festival in 2013. We consider that Bugojno has the needed infrastructure, people and potential for organising the 7th Bugojno Puppet Bienale”, said to FENA manger of Cultural-Sports Centre Bugojno Vahid Duraković.

According to Duraković, in the program of the festival, the best puppet shows from BiH, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Macedonia will be shown.

Bugojno Municipality also gave support for 7th Puppet Bienale.
