Building for Internally Displaced Persons built in Sarajevo

buildingAnnex 5 of the General Agreement on the method of realization of the project for construction of building for collective housing, locality Baruthana – Vasin Han, for permanent housing of 11 internally displaced families in the municipality of Stari Grad, was signed on Monday.

Diana Salihbegovic, secretary of the civil service, signed the agreement on behalf of the Mayor of Stari Grad Ibrahim Hadzibajric, the Director for BiH Suzana Jasarevic, on behalf of Hilfswerk Austria International and Amela Dautbegovic, the Minister for Labor, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees of the Canton Sarajevo (CS).

This Annex defines the financing of the continuation of works on the construction of collective housing, for which was allocated 40,000 BAM from the budget of the Municipality of Stari Grad, while the Ministry allocated 30,000 BAM. The opening of the facility and handing over the keys to future tenants is expected in the first half of September.
