The Government of the Republic of Bulgaria, with the contribution of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bulgaria, donated 50,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Bosnia and Herzegovina as a sign of solidarity with BiH’s efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The Bulgarian Embassy in BiH said this was further evidence of existing friendly relations between the two countries.

“Bulgaria continues to strongly support Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European and Euro-Atlantic path, remaining committed to intensifying political dialogue, trade, economic, cultural, tourism and military cooperation, and creating another opportunity to meet the two peoples, historically linked for centuries,” is stated by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH.
